With a soundtrack that blends rock, metal, pop, country and hip-hop, Drummers National Registry is a digital forum for percussionists to showcase and share your talents, learn from each other, contribute to your individual legacy by passing on ideas and serve the overall wellbeing of our trade.

Drummers National Registry pledges to provide an enthusiastic, modern vehicle for drummers to interact and learn from other like-minded musicians. DNR promises to pursue partnerships with providers of products and services that will benefit our following, as well as our industry leading partners.

Drummers National Regisrty has created an environment to encourage and nurture others, free from harsh or condeming critisism, offensive language and aggressiveness. Bad conduct will get a party banned from DNR and prior postings removed from this site. When in doubt, be kind.

We pride ourselves in showcasing the best up and coming talent from across the country. You're guaranteed to find something new to hear and enjoy.
We believe music has the power to change lives. When you come here to DNR you can expect something new and inspiring to stimulate your usual senses.
If you would like to upload a video of yours to be seen by your grandkids some day, here's your chance to impress.
Double Kick Exercise
Welcome to the weekly installment of "The Whole Note", DNR's information page where we Post, Discuss, Demo, Seek, Buy, Sell, and Learn about all things drums!
Today, let's take a quick look at one element of a successful percussionist... our sticks. Some of us enjoy a heavier stick, others like a lighter variety. There are tradional wood tips, nylon or even brushes or rods. There are sticky and contoured sticks and even sticks that light up. All these options, but how to choose?
We stress COMFORT, FEEL and BALANCE! Comfort is needed to combat fatique and keep it fun. Feel is important because that's what each stroke comes down to is the sensitivity to feel and control the bounce. Balance is needed in order to work in tandem with the stick as a partnership for best results.
Regardless of the choice of stick and unlike the world of AI, the human element will never be absent or diminished. Just Play On!
We appreciate our DNR followers, so come often, stay late and invite others!. Thanks, from the staff at Drummers National Registry
